Arrived just after 5pm - reception busy but checked in quickly - the staff member remembered my full name - he's a pt dj in Shoreditch I think too - lovely guy !

Preupgraded on Weds on app to preferred suite on 13th floor .

Large plate of chocolate covered strawberries by the sitting area .

Turndown service personnel remembered me (methinks I should move in ha !) and bought a bag of toiletries (larger sizes again) and handful of chocs

Lounge has several patrons partaking in paid afternoon tea - plenty left on display .

6.15pm and the lounge is certainly living up to its Friday reputation - 3/4 full and already run out of glasses !

It's Italian tonight - pizzas and an odd looking fish dish .

Plenty of cold foods - loving the sliced mozzarella and tomatoes !
Breads and cheeses aplenty too

I recognise the regular 'judge' guest - he's behaving tonight no swiping bottles of wine .

A mix of tourists and families so far - I'm shattered after two long night shifts so might not last (I'm a disgrace to us FTers !)

Staff doing a good job - they need 3 tonight !
