Re the "abode" I did no know that. I thought automatic entry and "staying" was allowed. Any idea what is stamped on an EU passport (non UK) when arriving in the UK? (Oz passports are stamped with "6 months").
She will not be a student when she arrives, and it might take a few months or more.
An EU passport is unlikely to be stamped with anything. As long as she has funds to sustain herself , she is allowed in or she can be in UK looking for a job until she becomes a student
