Ironically, most deluxe hotels in Tokyo, of all places, provide guest parking for free! Not that I have ever had a car when in Tokyo. I guess they must be able to do it because it's uncommon. I have occasionally taken advantage of this when someone has driven to visit me, say for a meal, at the hotel, the hotel will stamp the parking check for me.
