One of the few places in America where you can spend twelve bucks on a jar of jam. It's a French place, and they sell high-end sweets, preserves, chocolates, tea, coffee, etc. There's also a tea room where you can sit with a gaggle of Park Avenue ladies of a certain age and have a fancy afternoon snack. Good for gifts.
