How have you been checking for award flights? The ba.com website is notorious for having trouble displaying award availability on AA when connecting flights are involved. And for SEA, AS award flights (from elsewhere in the U.S. or from YVR) cannot be displayed at all on ba.com. Nor, for that matter, can EI award flights ex-DUB or ex-SNN.
