IMO *A has the best lineup of business class products among the alliances, and MileagePlus biz awards to most regions still comprise a decent value. The recent availability of NZ J on many routes was nice while it lasted.

TG F from Asia to Australia/NZ is good value for a fairly aspirational product, and UA routing rules make F through EU to Asia a pretty compelling option as well. UA GF awards are solid, if you consider them in comparison to *A business class, especially if flying from a gateway that offers F lounge access.

In the J game, BR/NH/OZ/NZ/TK/LX/OS have products I'd pay a premium for. So while the devaluation hurt the super premium end of the award chart, all is not lost, and I still feel that I get adequate redemption value for my UAL miles.
