Well they comped one night and the dinner.. Which was roughly 800 bucks x 2. They are also throwing in a few resort experiences as well, yoga, biking, etc.

The construction is not their construction, yet they didn't inform guests on booking. It takes place right on the beach, rendering the beach useless. They provide a shuttle to Sala samui, and yes, they are a majority shareholder for this six senses, but both resorts are completely different clientele. It's a nude beach! I mean come on, it seems like the cheap way out. They should cart people to a comparable beach, maybe four seasons.

People are checking out though, as most people want to go to beach at their leisure. Not on the once daily shuttle.

The other issue was that I paid for a certain villa, their top category, and this wasn't available. I'm still in the same category, but at a villa with no privacy. Now I immediately border another villa. I can literally see inside!! Those guests, here for Chinese new year, checked out yesterday.

I paid for the top room to get privacy. Yes I technically got the top room, but not the one that they guaranteed.

In all the emails back and forth with reservation, not one mention of noise or lack of proper villa.
