I just want to know is this a better plan? Did I get unlucky or lucky about the equipment swap? As far as I know it's the new 767 with the lie-flat seats.
This happened a while back. This, along with ORD-DUB switching to a A330-200, is the first set of international cross fleeting. Since the first row is open, I'd suggest snagging a seat in this row as the cubby for your legs is larger than the other rows on this plane. The A330-200 is too big for this route and the CIP 767 is pretty much a one for one replacement for the 767-200 US operated on this route for years.
N.B There are 15 non-CIP 767s that will be operation at this time. There is a chance that a last minute sub of a non-CIP 767 could occur on this route as the aircraft will rotate JFK-ZRH-PHL-ZRH-JFK. Just keep that in mind.
