Just an interesting observation.
I took my first 4 flights with QR this week, and noticed that most of the cabin crew were not from Qatar, or any middle-eastern country. I chatted with some of the cabin crew, one was from Bosnia Herz. another from Taiwan, another from South Africa, etc. They live now in Qatar with a working visa.
With BA, almost all the flight crew are English, AFAIK.
