It varies but on average I'd say in practice you usually get an extra 60-75 minutes from ORD than JFK, so maybe a bit more than the schedule implies. Given that a fair amount of the flight time is seat upright for take-off and landing/circling at LHR, that extra hour or so can be quite helpful.

That said, given the A321T I'd happily go for the JFK option here assuming the TPs will be useful to you. Otherwise, agree the direct W Coast option is best.
