In 2017 Paris will be the first city to host two different Curio Collection hotels. In the Montparnasse neighborhood at 4 Rue Niépce, a former classic office building will be converted into an "arts and cinéma-themed" Curio hotel with 44-rooms, 11-suites along with an 80-seat bar-restaurant area and canopied patio.

Edit 2017: The hotel will be called Niepce Paris, a Curio Collection by Hilton Hotel and is projected to open Q3 2017. The theme has been changed to photography. Nicéphore Niépce is a French inventor, now usually credited as the inventor of photography and a pioneer in that field. Niepce Paris pronounces somewhat like kneeAPES pahRee.
