BA delay in posting - costing me avios
I've just landed back in LHR with a flight that earned me enough tier points to send me from bronze to silver. I have a 5 hour layover before I fly out on a longhaul flight again.
The staff here at the arrivals lounge are telling me that my silver status won't post in time and I won't get the higher bonus avios for my next flight. Is that right? That seems like a blatant rip off. I've collected the points. It's their system thats working slowly.
Anyone have experience of this?
Is there someone I can call to make sure I don't loose out on the extra avios?
