As an SFO- (and occasional BOS) based 1K, I didn't bother renewing my Club membership once the Amex Centurion lounge opened. In irrops, Club "help" was always slower than calling the 1K line, if I couldn't do what I wanted via the app.
Now I'm reconsidering, given that the capable 1K agents are no longer accessible to me. Those of you who've dropped tiers from 1K... did you keep/buy Club access? Has it made any difference in crunch times? TIA!
Sounds like you just need to buy a day pass when you'd like access occasionally to a UC agent.
