The Comfort Inn in Jamaica, Queens is only $107 to $134 a night booked at choicehotels.com. It's a crappy neighborhood, but it's cheap and it's easier to reach Manhattan on the F train than from New Jersey or Long Island (as if EWR hotels would be any less crappy).
