CX FA's haven't shown me that kind of graciousness.
Yet. In August I flew CX F BOS-HKG along with the daughter of a friend (traveling same flight in Y) who was traveling outside the U.S. for the first time and was a little apprehensive. Told the CX cabin crew about her. Before the doors even closed, they made up a goodie bag (in a CX duffel) containing water, snacks and PJs. When they took it back to her, they moved her from a center seat to an aisle. That turned out to be prescient because the daughter spent nearly the entire flight being sick, in and out of the lavatory. Then they got her some rice soup, given her upset stomach. (From her description, I gather that it was some type of congee.) She later told me that the cabin crew was so solicitous of her that the other pax kept looking, wondering who she was.
I was the only F pax, and an hour before landing, cabin crew brought her up to F to sit with me.
I can't imagine what else cabin crew could have done for her. They were wonderful. IME, that type of service on CX isn't unusual. I fly 4-6 long haul flights/year in CX F and have never been disappointed.
