Also...there is a new airline that is about to start service called "Companion Air" and it touts itself as the "pet-friendly airline" since pets of any size can travel in the cabin (in crates though) along with an owner...they fly PC-12's which is a single engine turboprop that has a decent sized cabin though...since my parents drove down from Philly to South Florida for the winter with our golden retreiver, and swore never to do it again on account of boredom...it is likely that they will be using this service when they return for the summer...we got a quote from them on fares: a one-way from FLL-PHL with 1 pet and 2 adults is about $1500
