Thats some good news, but I doubt it will be enforced on islands like Bintan/Batam where 90%+ must be Singaporean tourists on weekend-trips..

But with Indonesia finally having abolished the "visa tax" for my nationality, I might be visiting more often (take that Sri Lanka, who did the opposite )
