After being sent travel brochures from Goodwood travel who offer an outbound flight to New York on Concorde and return to Southampton on the QE2 it made think that presuming they both take the shortest route Concorde must fly over or close to the QE2s route.
I realise that Concorde is prohibited to fly supersonic over land but has anyone on a boat (such as QE2) seen or heard Concorde fly overhead? Or is 58,000ft too high to hear it?

Not heard it from a boat but we get the sonic boom regularly here in South Devon
