It is unfortunate, especially when some people think that they can impose some sort of sharia law here. They were offended by my message in other dorum about el al grounding their entire fleet for an entire day every week for relegion related reasons (which explains it). I have not tried to offend any relegious person, yet, i have the right to think what i want about relegion. Blasphemy is no longer a crime. My views about relegions has nothing to do people.
Might be wise to leave the religious angle behind. Get angry about the bus. Or poor service. But if El Al wants to have a day off, it's their call. As you've seen, people find that a bit sensitive. It's Flyertalk, not A Point of View. You might get a better response if you accept that some of your original thoughts were not quite accurate - airlines don't force us to take buses and pilots don't park on remote stands because they are lazy.
