Done!

I confirmed payment today for a outbound flight direct with 9W and a return direct with BA. Did this over the phone as couldn't risk cancelling and then hoping to grab the tickets again online - life is short and stressful enough!

I'll consider an upgrade to business if four seats on BA become available from now till Dec but at least the main booking is now done.

Although the surcharges were high, the schedule is perfect and I'm still saving a big chunk of cash ... more spending money for us so think I'll treat the mrs to a swanky hotel arrival in Delhi
