This is the one thing that annoys me most about Ryanair. (That and having to get docs checked at the counter as a US passport holder). I often fly CGN-STN and my preference is Eurowings vs. Ryanair which have flights about 10 minutes apart (even though I generally love Ryanair) because with Eurowings I wait in the terminal and then board through a jetbridge onto the plane. With Ryanair we stand in the jetbridge for 20 minutes in the cold, then walk down to the tarmac, back up to the plane, sit in the freezing cold plane for 20 minutes before they close the door.
