Question HBO question on Iberia booking mixed with BA flight...
I am trying to book a flight for my sister:

HAM ✈ LHR BA969
LHR ✈ MAD IB3177

and return

MAD ✈ LHR IB7442
LHR ✈ HAM BA974

When I price it up on Iberia.com, I am given option to book "Basic" or "Classic" fares - my sister is BA Silver, so she's eligible to have 1 additional hold luggage on Iberia flights... so 1 in Basic, 2 in Classic.

Now my question is - how does it work on such itinerary if I choose Basic? Will BA ask my sister to pay for first bag? or will BA see 1 bag as allowance?

Has anyone had any experience?
