Thanks, Yulred. I missed #62 in my earlier read.

So, the $ amounts are several years old. Even the Treasury Board and various private sector employers update travel related allowances more frequently. Usually annually unless there's a material change in circumstances dictating an earlier review.

Current Treasury Board guidelines are higher. Realize AC is a private corporation but TB guidelines are a reasonable guideline.

Given the age of the policy in #62, and have to assume it's current as no info to the contrary, amounts don't take into account the significant change in exchange rates. Very difficult to get dinner for the amount stated, especially outside Canada. McDonalds or Subway perhaps?
