The flight pass credit value may be lower than the lowest available fare if purchased close to the date (due to advance-purchase windows closing, sell-out of low-Flex fare buckets, or both) and yet you can buy the flight pass at virtually the last minute. It's a good option to consider if having multiple trips between the same regions in the 12 month period.
