Today in LPA, my cabin trolley probably weighed ~16 kg, but I travelled with hand luggage only, OLCIed and went straight to security. Nobody paid any attention to the bag at the gate.

As a special note, I did not expect lounge access with AY SIlver card, but the lounge invitation was nevertheless printed on my BP and they let me in. Wanted to see the actual card, though, in true Spanish bureaucratic style.
