One of my worst flying mistakes was deciding to take the LAX-DFW redeye so I could stay in LA to watch a football game. Rather than just getting a hotel room, I thought, why not be thrifty and use the airplane for my overnight.

Got onboard, had an empty exit row middle next to me and thought I was home-free. Until a 6'5" NBA Basketball player sat next to me with the widest shoulders I've ever encountered.

Couldn't pay me to do that ever again.
