We just returned from a wonderful 4 night stay. We each had a couple of margaritas in the club at nights without any issues. The water is all purified.

Sadly I cannot answer the fitness club question for certain as I am Diamond and didn't think to ask. Though I am near certain the fitness center is free to all guests.
