Over the last several months I've noticed on many of my flights that when the FAs aren't doing safety or service tasks, they tend to congregate in the galley and have gripefests. I have heard lots and lots of invective on the above topics (and others), and the amount of complaints is seemingly inexhaustible.
I do wonder sometimes if the FAs know or (or care) how loud they are when they engage in such opprobrium.
If I were to complain about my employer in front of my customers in such a fashion, I would most certainly be fired.
