Not saying it never happens, but I don't recall seeing FAs closing bins with usable space left. I often see them closing full bins, but leaving the open the ones that can still be used. Is this different than what most of you are seeing?

My biggest problem seems to be with the GAs. I've had a couple of flights with tight connections where the GA told me the overheads were full and they were getting ready to close the door behind me (forcing me to gate check my carry on), and neither were true. In both cases, there were totally empty bins and the door didn't close until about 10 minutes after I was seated.
