I know i'll be fine, i know i should perhaps only fear clear air turbulence as i hate the sensation of falling/the thought of being in the loo and up to the ceiling you go..... but dang i am fed up of bumpy tatls at night making me grip the seat due to irrational fear. Last couple of flights we have bounced our way over the atlantic from miami and every time we land i question why I bother doing this - even though it is just 'light chop' in the calming words from the flight deck. Miserable experience, I just can't get my mind to forget about it and relax. Drop the air pressure and knock me out, eh? Hitting another aircraft's wash is always fun too....
