Thanks. Would that change if I decided I just wanted to stay in Europe for this first trip (as much as I'd like to do RTW and hit all the cities dad and I talked about, it seems just focusing on one region might be best to start)?

My understanding is that no it wouldn't. And diversifying between AA (to get me there) and UR/UAL points (to get me around Europe) might be best. Did I get that right?
