Who do you call to change/cancel and fees?
I am trying to book HKG- DELHI flight for 3 on coach on Jan 7th, I can't find CX awards on BA website. I see that one of the Thank you transfer partner is Asia miles. I see CX & Jet Airways are bookable with Asia miles. So is it cheaper to transfer my TY points to book the CX or Jet Airways flight on Asia miles website or cheaper booking directly with TY points? Will these 2 airlines charge fuel surcharge?
Thanks
Any updates on this? I'm curious as well, especially if you use TYP to purchase the flight. Would you get the TYP refunded with a $150-200 change fee from the airline?
Also, the cancellation policy when booking seems to be:
Flight Rules, Policies, Cancellations - JFK > SFO > JFK (03/24/2016 06:30 PM - 03/27/2016 11:00 PM)
Cancellations on this air ticket can be completed online before 11pm Eastern Time the next business day(business days are Monday-Friday, excludes Saturday and Sunday). Tickets booked on Friday, Saturday or Sunday may be cancelled until the following Monday 11pm Eastern Time.
This seems similar to my former corporate travel policy, meaning that you could book a ticket on Friday and have almost 4 days to cancel without a change fee. However, other posts in this thread mention that Connexions may charge a phone/convenience fee when doing so. Can anyone confirm if that's still current and if it applies to all itineraries? If there's no admin fee, I would probably use this portal to book all my revenue flights to get the extended cancellation window.
