I'm in agreement with the posts above, so I'd say it's only reasonable to be mildly cheesed off with AC, but that you should be more cheesed off with yourself and/or your secretary for not noticing sooner. Had you acted right away when they sent it, there's probably a decent chance you could have changed to one of the other flights and kept the upgrade.
