I hope you are not looking at the google maps route, which has the resort in the wrong place.
Head due east from the airport on the road to Sweihan. Keep going until you get to the Dubai to Al Ain road. Turn north towards Dubai (you have to go a bit south to get under the motorway), turn right into resort at the appropriate junction.
