It was a fantastic value redemption (especially for Cash + Points). It wasn't the fanciest Hilton and certainly won't win any awards but it was functional and definitely made the prospect of skiing in Japan far less daunting. It certainly isn't a top tier ski resort / lodge / etc. and is far from the nicest I've visited, but if you want to ski Niseko (especially on points) it is hard to beat.

It wasn't particularly difficult to get to either as weird as that might seem. We left at ~6pm EST arrived in Tokyo the "next morning" via the SFOHND flight and then were at the Hilton by mid-day. Not too terrible at all.

I was actually at Niseko which is separate from Kororo but if Kororo is anything like Niseko it'll be fantastic. Hokkaido gets a ton of snow and even in March there was plenty.
