I’ve been in F on both the 77W and the 772 several times. Aside from the outdated entertainment system on the 772, the suites are pretty much the same. You’ll find that the 772 F suites will be showing their age with abundant evidence of passenger use and abuse. Nonetheless, the 772 F suite is still my second favorite long haul seat in the AA system. The first, of course, is the 77W F suite, specifically 1A.

If you had wanted to experience the 77W F suite, you should have booked your award as LAX-DFW-HKG. I am assuming you are not stopping over in Tokyo.
