To me, choice of airline to fly is independent of who I want to claim rewards on.

I fly an airline based on how they treat me onboard. Then I charge a whole lot on credit cards and do all sorts of other machinations to get reward miles. Sometimes the two coincide. Not always.

But as far as destinations I want for award redemption:

SYD (ideally CNS as well, and perhaps an allowable stopover in PPT on the way)
IST
DEL

I'd never put LAS, MCO, or LHR/LGW on the list because it's generally just so inexpensive to buy tickets there. Although the ability to upgrade flights to LHR might be relevant.

Of course, this is from the perspective of a US-based traveler (me). For some from elsewhere around the world, US destinations might even make the list!
