I recently 'purchased' a few drinks in-flight. I didn't use that card for about 3 weeks and when I tried to do so, it was declined. I called the company and they listed 2 purchases which they had declined and asked if I had made them. 1 purchase was the AA flight 3 weeks ago ( they didn't send me an email ???? ) and the purchase I had just tried to make. It would appear that AA doesn't know that they did not get their money.
