Good question......answer being I don't drive. She's actually an excellent driver and has been driving for 40 years. Most of the bangs and scrapes I mentioned happened years ago when driving in the UK was a new experience for her. She had difficulty adjusting to the narrow twisty hilly roads compared to here where all the major and minor roads are flat straight and wide.

Anyway glad you bumped the thread. It gives me the opportunity to say we've decided a campervan/motorhome holiday is not going to work for us. The negatives far outweigh the positives to justify the extra expense involved.
