Wow! Thanks for the great information!

Cape Town is one of my six stops, and I'll spend about a week there. My general itinerary--albeit not yet booked--is:

Sydney (sidetrip to Melbourne)
Tokyo -- leaving from Osaka
Tallin, Estonia (friends there, then working south through Poland--more friends--and flying out from Vienna)
Cairo (again, bumming off of friends)
Cape Town
Sao Paulo (yet more friends--lucky, huh?)

The interesting leg to anticipate is the Osaka-Tallin journey. I'll be doing Delta/Sky Team, and have started working with Award Planner to help me book. We'll actually start booking mid-November, but they've been great to work with already in the initial planning phase. Thankfully, I'm going to have enough miles to do business class.
