The Holiday Inn is outside the "downtown" area, but it's not the farthest - that honor belongs to the Marqueen, which has been popping up frequently for 3* Downtown bids.

The HI, aside from location, isn't a bad property. The disgrace to Seattle is the Westcoast Vance, also a 3* in the Downtown zone for PL. It's, bluntly, a sty. That property alone is enough to make me shy away from bidding the Downtown zone again.

As an aside, 4* bidding in Downtown Seattle doesn't result in the amazing savings it can in other markets. Odd, that.
