Of course there are many other attractions in Langkawi besides resorts and beaches. They have the Underwater World (Aquarium), Langkawi Wildlife Park & Bird Paradise, Crocodile Farm, Buffalo Park,etc.. In the Oriental Village (the place where the cable car is located), there are some new attractions such as 3D museum and Skyrex (5D Dinosaur Adventure). A visit to Langkawi would not complete if you didnt go to its legendary place such as Mahsuri Tomb and take pictures in front of the Eagle monument. Try to explore some local Langkawian culture by watching the Silat martial art performance, the process of Gamat(sea cucumber that famously used as a traditional medicine) oil production, and local handicrafts at Langkawi Craft Complex. You also can find spas and massage centers all over the island to retreat yourself after touring all day. Dont forget to try the local Langkawian cuisine such as "Kerabu Bronok" (Bronok is a type of exotic marine creature), Laksa and Gamat (Sea Cucumber) Soup.
