I've always thought if you cancel your credit card you used to earn bonus miles you still keep your miles. But it seems this may have changed with United? Here is a screenshot of my United.com page after I signed in that seems to indicate this. Is this true? I will now lose miles earned from the credit card when I cancel it? I opened my United card May 2015 and received 50,000 bonus miles.
