You've got the guaranteed empty middle seat with an additional tray. Seat width and legroom is the same unless you're at the bulkhead. Food is better, as is the service. You get access to business-class lounges and priority security at the airport, and you'll be boarding first and getting off the plane first. Whether that is worth the additional cost is something you'll have to decide for yourself.
