Frankly I think one can achieve a greater level of physical comfort in an ET seat with an empty seat next to me than a CE seat.
How?! You start by saying that the seat is the same, just with no one sat beside you, so how can ET be more comfortable than CE?
I'd still go CE over ET anytime that the fare allows, the guarantee of having no one next to me, rather than playing the lottery that no one will sit in the middle seat, is worth every penny.
