Ha funny thread. Things have certainly changed since this began...

But, back in the day (maybe 95) when you could carry anything on my record was ... one stuffed garment bag, overstuffed computer bag (back when computers were FAT) a briefcase and one rear mountain bike wheel, with the tire taken off but gears still on. On NWA. Flew in F and the crew was kind enough to put the tire in the closet. I was out of control back then. Hence my problems with 'tennis elbow' from carrying too much stuff around for all those years when I was a road warrior.

More recently, coming home from Chicago, visiting my favorite Aunt-in-law, who lives near Fredo's hot dog / Italian Beefs joint (out there in '847 maybe on Roselle Road)... I brought 5 lbs of italian beefs in a plastic bag and a quart-plus-sized jar of wet home in a medium-sized cooler. The problem was that the cooler would not fit upright with the lid closed in the overhead (and I was worried about the wet spilling) so I had to keep the cooler, lid wide open, under the seat in front of me. You could smell yummy italian beefs for rows and rows...
