When I was a kid (probably 10 or younger, can't remember exactly when, this would put it about 20 or so years ago) I flew home from Florida as unaccompanied minor (though with another minor) with a huge stuffed animal I won playing some game at Busch Gardens in Tampa. I'm thinking it was around 3 feet tall and a koala bear, one of the top prizes for whatever game it was. (I can't remember the game, one of those standard ring toss things, something like that.) It would have easily filled its own seat, so they took it and put it in the closet somewhere. I don't remember the airline for certain, several possibilities, but I think it may have been Piedmont. Could easily have been PeoplExpress, though, as I think the destination after that trip was Newark. So not too strange, really, but certainly a rather silly thing to have a large stuffed animal with you. If I had done it at my current age, *then* it would be strange.
