Hi all

I was just thinking about which cities in the world are people's favourites. It makes me wonder whether there is one city in the world that stands out heads and shoulders above the rest.

Accordingly I'd be interested to hear from each of you - If a friend won an air ticket to the city of his choice , which city would you recommend that he visit - ie which city is most worth visiting in the entire world.

My choice is from the cities I have visited. I have not as yet visited Paris and I suspect that if I had I might have chosen Paris however it is only fair to comment on cities you have actually visited.

Of the cities I have visited [Perth, Adelaide, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Auckland, Denpasar, Hong Kong, Macau, Shenzhen, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Phoenix, San Diego, Yogyakarta]...

This is a very limited selection but of the above the winner is...

Hong Kong

It's a genuinely exciting city with plenty to do and great tailors. Las Vegas second. Perth would come third.

But please don't be limited by the above list - of all the cities that you have visited - which has been your favourite?
