Thanks for the trip report- it makes me more excited to see Greece! We'll be staying in a Maisonette Suite, one step up from a junior suite, but it looks quite nice. I know I want to see Spinalonga and my friend has tons of research about things to see, including a train that takes us from one site to another. I've been dealing with the travel arrangements so she has been doing the research. I'll be writing my own review of Blue Palace and of all our hotels and excursions. We'll be posting on Instagram and Facebook, too, so all my travel groups can see and hear all about the trip.

Can anyone tell me what the average cab fare to and from the airport is? I read one review that said he was charged for his luggage! That seems crazy to me. We'll be at BP May 9th through May 12th, then back to Athens for one night at the Astir Beach Complex before flying home. Before Crete, we will be 5 nights in Athens at Hotel Bretagne. I'm already thrilled by their kindness. I commented on their FB page and I've already heard from their pre-arrivals people. Very kind. I hope Blue Palace's staff will be as helpful as Hotel Bretagne's.

Thanks again for the report and photos- it sure makes me wish that May would arrive sooner!
