We just finished a really nice stay at Auberge du Soliel. We booked a standard room but got upgraded to a beautifully renovated suite. The renovation work DavidO mentioned in his original post (almost one year ago) is still ongoing, with major construction happening on several of the buildings in the middle of the resort. This didn't cause any issue for us, but I could imagine it being annoying if you got a room closer to the affected buildings and/or if you plan to spend a lot of time at the resort during the day. We were out and about for most of the day time, and didn't hear any construction noise in the morning or evening.
